Hollywood Gig Network™ Artist's Bill of Rights

The Hollywood Gig Network™ is created by Artists for Artists! We are setting the standard for the industry to follow with our HGN Artist Bill of Rights:

1)  You have the right to NOT be charged for a Gig!

When booked by a HMMA Licensed Showcase Coordinator, you're protected from predatory practices like "pay-to-play". HGN bookers will NEVER charge an artist a fee to perform in a HMMA Showcase.

2)  You have the right to professional courtesy!

As a HGN artist, your showcase experience will be handled in a pleasant and professional manner by HMMA promoters.  Accredited showcase coordinators are committed to insure fun and successful shows.  The HMMA has established a network of professionals in the entertainment industry and you, like those professionals, will be treated with the respect and service you deserve!

3)  You have the right to make money!

Hard working and talented artists deserve to be compensated for results! HMMA Showcase Coordinators structure events so that artists make money from door splits and ticket pre-sales. Artists also keep their money from merchandise and album sales. Artists deserve a piece of the pie from successful shows and with HMMA Showcases, it's built in for you!

4)  You have the right to a great show experience!

HMMA Showcase Coordinators know how to insure a great event for artists with proper sound, lighting and appropriate venue amenities. Our commitment to you is to provide a seamless technical experience so you can focus on a great performance!

5) You have the right to be booked in multiple venues

Being in the HGN master database means all HMMA Showcase Coordinators from around the country have access to you!  After submitting just once, you'll permanently stay in the database…forever! Showcase coordinators select from this master database first to book artists in their territories.  Wouldn't it be nice to have an entire tour lined up knowing exactly what to expect?  As the network grows, so will your opportunity to perform in front of new fans!
